Great women's running short review from the guys at Gear Loop for BornBound's Rekord Run Short!
BornBound is a new brand and up against some tough competition, but this is what they had to say...
For: Great stretch fabric, Designed for racing, No zips
Against: Rear pocket is tight, Lacks brand cachet
Born Bound is a relatively new brand on the scene, and it makes high-tech running apparel for those into faster tempo runs, racing and, in particularly, triathlon. With that in mind, its Rekord Run Shorts are ultra-lightweight, offer excellent freedom of movement and dry fantastically quickly.
They feature a V-Cut leg, which isn’t as high-rise as others on this list, but still offers plenty of freedom of movement. There’s an inner short, while the entire thing is fashioned from four-way stretch fabric.
Like the Under Armour Lighter Than Air Shorts, we loved how lightweight and effortless these shorts felt to run in. The fold over rear pocket is a great idea too, as it does away with scratchy zips, but it is a little tight for larger phones, and anything bulky digs into the lower back, as the waistline of these shorts is understandably fitted to keep the shorts in place.
