As part of our development, BornBound is aligning with an environmental charitable partner in each market, through a commitment to 1% for the Planet, to pay our due to the environment in which the sport of triathlon survives.

We believe Ocean Plastics related causes fit extremely well with the brand’s aspirations and 1% for the Planet ensures that our donations go to related charities in our key markets. In the USA our donations go to Oceana, and in the the UK market donations go to support Plastics Free North Devon. This environmental charity’s focus area is North Devon in England, which is one of just 12 World Surfer Reserves and also the home of BornBound's UK and European distribution office. The charity's expertise in environmentally responsible manufacturing and packaging will be a significant contributor to us understanding where we need to be in the future as a producer of sustainably produced sportswear. 

The charity also owns the popular Croyde Ocean Triathlon, for which BornBound is now signed as the sponsor for a 3-year term beginning 2023. See HERE for information on this groundbreaking event.
