Katie is based in Cornwall, in the UK and has been swimming, cycling and running since a very young age, but not necessarily all in the same day.
In the last couple of years however, she has found her passion for triathlon and combining her talents in each discipline. In 2023 she competed in her local Cornwall Triathlon Series at sprint and standard distances, winning 4 of the 4 races she entered, resulting in the overall series win. She has also represented Cornwall for both cross country and road running, and competed up to a national level.
We first met Katie in 2024 when she won her AG at the Outlaw Half and this was definitely her breakthrough year. She went on to win her age group (20-25) in the British 70.3 Championships and had an impressive year in what was only her 2nd real season in the sport.
In 2025 she has kicked on again, massively, as she qualified for the 2025 World 70.3 Championships in Marbella and finished 9th in her AG (25-29). A huge result for someone so relatively new to Triathlon. We’re excited for her potential in the sport of triathlon and she certainly has the ability to go Pro in the coming seasons!
