Torin started the sport of triathlon in the Fall of 2021, joining the NCAA Triathlon team at Colorado Mesa University - one of the first programs in the emerging sport. Swimming and running were Torin's predominant sports as a youth. The opportunity to compete at the college level in such a dynamic and fun sport inspired her to jump into the multisport world.
Over the past 3 years, Torin has developed into a competitive force at the DII level. Additionally, she is working towards earning her elite license. More recently, Torin has invested more into X-terra off-road triathlons, with hopes to pursue that format at the elite level primarily.
Torin is in her final semester at Colorado Mesa University, finishing up a B.S. in Outdoor Recreation Industry Studies, and a Minor in Coaching. Torin is also passionate about expanding outdoor access to all and leads outdoor trips in skiing, climbing, backpacking, and more. In her spare time, she can be found spending time with others exploring by bike, skiing, climbing, camping, or cooking nourishing food.
